The half day tour from Prague will take you to the glassworks company in Nižbor which was recently returned to its original owners. It is an example of a company with a tradition of more than a hundred years. The owner of the company J. Ruckl now continues the family tradition of manufacturing and marketing high quality Czech crystal including service sets for the table, decorative items for the home, liqueur sets and perfume bottles. During our excursion you will see hand glass production in all stages, manual technologies for both hot-shaped glass (blowing to wooden moulds) and decorated glass (hand cutting and polishing). On the factory grounds there is also a shop where you can buy glass for a reasonable price.
