This tour shows you the charming South Bohemian country side, often called the green sea of the woods and meadows. You will admire the beautiful landscape with picturesque villages and lakes. Český Krumlov - an incredibly well preserved medieval town should not be missed! It is a wonderful place to wander with its uniquely preserved cobblestone streets and charming Renaissance facades built along a loop in the river and overseen by an enormous 13th century castle (complete with five courtyards). Krumlov Castle is the second largest fortification in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle and certainly one of the oldest. You will see the interiors and rich historical collections of the splendid castle. On the way back to Prague we'll make a stop in the royal town of České Budějovice, founded in the 13th century, a place where the famous beer Budweiser has been brewed over centuries.
