The driven 4 hrs tour starts at the Strahov Monastery. We enter the world famous library with a large number of illuminating medieval manuscripts, maps and globes. We carry on to the Church of our Lady Victorious. This church is world famous thanks to the Holy Infant of Prague (better known by its Italian name-il Bambino di Praga). This wax effigy has an impressive record of miracle cures and is one of the most revered images in the Catholic world. Then we move on to the Loreto Church. Crowds gather to hear the hourly song chimed from the 27 bells of the Loreto´s spire. The Baroque pilgrimage site has a reproduction of the Italian Santa Casa and houses the Loreto Treasury, a collection of sacral objects from the 16th to 18th centuries. The most famous of these is the Diamond Monstrance adorned with 6 222 diamonds. We proceed to the St Nicholas Church,a fascinating baroque monument with fantastic marble pulpit and beautiful statuary. W. A. Mozart played the organ here during his stay in Prague. The tour ends at the hotel.
